Driven by our Jewish values and commitment to promoting wellbeing in our community the founders of the Jewish AIDS Trust established a ground-breaking education programme to be delivered across the Jewish community.
Keenly aware of the cultural sensitivity around Relationships & Sex Education (RSE), JAT provided culturally and communally-appropriate workshops, resources and training across the community for several decades. JAT also worked with agencies beyond the Jewish community to ensure culturally-sensitive care for people living with, and affected by, HIV.
JAT education resources were developed by RSE experts, in conjunction with leading HIV and Sexual Health organisations, with input from Jewish commmunal leadership.
Delivered by highly-trained volunteers, the programmes became known for their interactivity, accessibility and non-judgemental fact-based education across Jewish schools, youth movements, social care organisations and healthcare providers.
Since funding constraints have prevented the continuation of JAT's direct delivery, we work with partner organisations such as Streetwise to ensure the provision of high-quality RSE across Jewish schools and youth organisations.

Latest Research
In 2025 JAT commissioned Social Finance and The Institute for Jewish Policy Research (JPR) to undertake research into current RSE delivery in UK Jewish Secondary Schools.
The report of the research findings is currently being written and will be published here as soon as it is received.
